FIFA 23 is receiving new content consistently and we now have the option of packing an Icon in a new squad-building challenge!

The new SBC allows players to craft an Icon up to the rating of 86.

That leaves plenty of excellent Icons available for players to pack, including the likes of Wayne Rooney, Patrick Vieira, Frank Lampard, and Rio Ferdinand.

To complete the SBC, players won’t actually need all that many coins, and we’ll guide you along the way to completing the challenge and getting an Icon into your squad.

Of course, Icons link with anyone, so they can fit seamlessly into pretty much any team in the game.

How to complete new Icon SBC

The requirements are pretty simple, and there really isn’t a great deal needed to get an Icon into your squad.

84-Rated Squad

  • Squad Rating: Minimum 84
  • Players in the squad: 11
  • Reward: Small Prime Electrum Players Pack

86-Rated Squad

  • IF Players: Minimum 1
  • Squad Rating: Minimum 86
  • Players in the squad: 11
  • Reward: Premium Mixed Players Pack

The SBC isn’t going to set you back a massive amount when one considers that you’ll be receiving an Icon at the end.

The price varies ever so slightly depending on whether you’re on console or on PC, and it should also be said that the price will also vary if you’ve got some big players in your club.

Still, the price, if you have to buy every player, is as follows:

  • Console: 140,000 coins
  • PC: 145,000 coins

There are plenty of really good players that you can pack from this, but also some players who you may well struggle to use.

Still, it might well be worth rolling the dice to see if Vieira pops out of the pack.
