Aston Villa star Danny Ings could be 'one of the most sought-after players' in January and a Villa Park exit cannot be ruled out, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
The Midlands club spent more than £60million during the summer window, but there is a possibility that further incomings and outgoings will be sanctioned at the turn of the year.

What's the latest news involving Ings?
Villa sacked head coach Steven Gerrard soon after a 3-0 defeat to Fulham last week, but Ings played a key role in getting the new era off to a flying start.
The striker scored twice in the opening 14 minutes as his side recorded a comfortable 4-0 victory over Brentford on Sunday.
Those efforts doubled Ings' tally for the entire season, having failed to find the back of the net since securing a Carabao Cup second round win over Bolton Wanderers in August.
The 30-year-old reacted to beating Brentford by claiming Villa 'owed the fans' after making an underwhelming start to the season which ultimately cost Gerrard his job.
Villa, under the guidance of caretaker manager Aaron Danks, moved three points clear of the Premier League's relegation zone thanks to sealing the win.

What has Dean Jones said about Ings?
Jones believes Ings could be on the radar of numerous clubs with the January transfer window fast approaching.
The journalist feels the three-cap England international would have been assessing his options after being deprived of regular starts under former boss Gerrard.
When asked whether Ings could leave during the early stages of 2023, Jones told GIVEMESPORT: "It'll depend on who is the manager of Aston Villa at the time.
"But, if Steven Gerrard was still there, I think Danny Ings would probably be one of the most sought-after players in the January transfer market.
"He's a player that clearly isn't fulfilling his potential and he must be frustrated.
"As another team who is looking for a goal boost, he is the sort of player that you'd feel could turn around your season, so it will be really interesting to keep an eye on his situation."
Should Villa sell Ings in January?
It is understood that Villa were willing to sell Ings, amid interest from Brighton & Hove Albion, during the summer transfer window.
But the club should change their stance as the former Southampton man, who made the move to Villa Park from the south coast for £25million last year, is capable of turning his current employers' season around.
Ings has found the back of the net 65 times during his Premier League career and there is no doubt that, with the right service, he is a major goal threat.
Although he will enter the final 18 months of his £120,000-per-week contract at the turn of the year, Villa should opt against cashing-in unless a big-money bid which is too good to turn down is lodged in January.
