It's safe to say we're seeing the very best of Neymar in 2022/23.

The Brazilian superstar has been plagued by injuries during his time at Paris Saint-Germain, but he looks fitter than ever this season.

Alongside Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, Neymar has wreaked havoc on defences in both Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

The 30-year-old was at his dazzling best once again in PSG's 4-3 victory over Troyes on Saturday afternoon.

Neymar scored and assisted in the match, taking him to 13 goals and 10 assists across all competitions.

Not bad, eh?

Neymar went full FIFA Street vs Troyes

But Neymar's highlight from the match was neither his goal or assist.

Instead, it was his mazy run from deep that left several Troyes players trailing in his wake, one that was finished off with the silkiest of back-heel passes to Mbappe.

Had Mbappe converted the relatively easy chance, we'd be sat here talking about one of the greatest assists in football history.

And Saturday was not the first time Neymar has been robbed of some creative genius in a PSG shirt...

Neymar nearly had an all-timer assist vs Strasbourg in 2018

In a Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg during Neymar's first season in Paris, the world's most expensive footballer lived up to his enormous price tag.

With his team 5-2 up and cruising, the Brazilian decided to take on the opposition single-handedly.

Starting in his own half, Neymar charged past Strasbourg players at will, before playing a perfectly-weighted no-look pass into the path of Adrien Rabiot.

Sadly, Rabiot couldn't get the ball past the goalkeeper from inside the box...

Outrageous, simply outrageous. Cherish Neymar while you can, because we might not see a footballer quite like him again for a long, long time.

He's the closest thing to a Ronaldinho re-gen we've seen and Neymar actually outdoes his fellow countryman in terms of output.

At club level with Santos, Barcelona and PSG, Neymar has 288 goals and 181 assists to his name overall.

And with the Brazil national team, his record is only bettered by the iconic figure of Pele.

Neymar sits on 75 goals for the Selecao and he may very well surpass Pele's haul of 77 at the Qatar World Cup.
