Cristiano Ronaldo was accused of blanking Gary Neville ahead of Manchester United's 1-0 win over West Ham at Old Trafford.

Ahead of the warm-up, Ronaldo greeted Louis Saha and Jamie Redknapp who were on Sky Sports punditry duty.

However, he ran off before acknowledging Neville who was next in line.

Was it deliberate? Was it accidental?

Well, a new angle has emerged that shows just how awkward the blank really was.

Filmed from the stands, the video shows Ronaldo saying hello to Saha and Redknapp.

Then, Neville thinks he's next and passes his Sky Sports microphone to his left hand to prepare for a handshake with his right. But Ronaldo runs off and Neville is left looking incredibly awkward.

Of course, this isn't the first time in which Ronaldo has blanked a Sky Sports pundit before a game.

Back in August, Ronaldo ignored Jamie Carrghed ahead of Manchester United's clash with Liverpool. Carragher had previously criticised the Portuguese superstar.

And after Neville became the latest to be snubbed, Carragher was loving it.

He immediately tweeted: "Welcome to the, blanked by Ronaldo club," to Neville before changing both his profile picture and header on Twitter to the incident.

Rashford scores the only goal of the game

During the actual football, Ronaldo played 90 minutes as United beat West Ham 1-0. Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game - his 100th for the club.

Rashford's header was reminiscent of Ronaldo in his prime and his manager, Erik ten Hag, believes he's now among the elite in world football.

"I think he is," he replied when asked if Rashford is now considering a United great. "Before you're 25 already, you've scored 100 goals, you are already there but I think don't be satisfied with that and in the end, it's about how many trophies you win with your club and he can develop his game even more.

"You see now he makes two headers, for instance, and we work a lot on that, I notified him from the start his heading has to improve and he worked on it and you see what's happening. It's also mental, he is much more consistent, reliable and resilient.

"So I'm really happy with that progress. For me, he is already massive, a great player. Still a lot of improvement. Where it ends, I don't know, but it will be fantastic career, I'm sure."
