Triple H's plans for Kevin Owens within WWE are "on pause" right now due to how popular Sami Zayn has gotten.

Owens hasn't been seen on WWE TV in several weeks now, apart from a one-off appearance on the October 18 episode of NXT.

And the reason for Owens absence from TV, it has been claimed, is down to the popularity of his close friend Sami right now.

What is happening with Kevin Owens right now?

At the time of writing, there's no word on what plans WWE has for Kevin right now, but he was teasing getting involved with Sami's story with The Bloodline before taking his absence from WWE TV.

WrestleVotes, speaking exclusively with GiveMeSport, is now reporting that KO isn't on TV because Triple H has "paused" his plans due to how over Sami's involvement with the faction has gotten.

He was pegged to get involved with Sami and The Bloodline, but that's white hot right now. Those plans from what I've been told are definitely pushed back, but they're not off, because the plan is for Kevin Owens to be with Sami Zayn.

The ever-reliable Twitter account then told GiveMeSport that Sami's involvement in the group was only supposed to last a few weeks, but that's now changed.

Whatever they had planned for Kevin Owens is totally on pause because this stuff with Sami doesn't come around often. This was supposed to be a little three, four week comedy deal, and it's getting big.

Fans often enjoy Sami's segments with The Bloodline more than anything else each week, so it's probably for the best that Triple H has seemingly delayed his split from the group.

WrestleVotes also explained that Kevin is also likely being kept off TV right now due to the fact he doesn't work Saudi Arabia shows, and Crown Jewel taking place in the country this weekend.

Latest news on Sami Zayn

WWE announced this week that Montreal will host Elimination Chamber in February 2023, and WrestleVotes speculated during the interview that Sami may play a big role in the show.

This would mean that Sami's involvement with The Bloodline will likely extend beyond 2022 and into 2023, before he splits from the group, likely by being kicked out, and turns babyface.
