WWE has had some incredible Superstars over the course of its history, with some obviously much more successful than others, with all fans having their favourite, but who is the ultimate WWE Superstar?
You always get the likes of The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan thrown into the equation, but which one of the iconic trio tops your list?

Many would have Randy Orton higher up on their lists, however the names ahead of him are just as iconic, with some comfortably more notorious, however, his longevity and athleticism is remarkable, he certainly has to go down as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

17. Edge
Edge can boast major success as both a solo performer and as part of a tag-team, cementing his place as one of the greats, with his return from a neck injury, which should have been career-ending, after a decade out being simply sensational.

16. Bruno Sammartino
The late, great Bruno Sammartino was instrumental in the astronomical growth of the company when Vince McMahon took the reins and drove the business onto new heights, with Bruno Sammartino helping that.
15. Mick Foley
Known for his hardcore wrestling style and variety of characters, Mick Foley was a captivating character in the WWE, showing why character development was vital, changing the landscape of the WWE as we know it.

At almost 50 years old, Rey Mysterio is still performing at the highest level, proving to us all that despite being one of the smallest athletes in the WWE, he is still as capable as the rest of them, paving the way for other Superstars that weren’t quite at the six foot mark.

Bret Hart is a name synonymous with the WWE, and will always be thrown about in the greatest technical wrestlers of all time debates, Hitman will certainly be remembered for his ridiculous in-ring talent.

12. Chris Jericho
Y2J was responsible for putting Canada back on the WWE landscape, enjoying well over a decade with the company, Chris Jericho achieved more than most can dream of and will be remembered as an incredible entertainer.

11. Brock Lesnar
Another current Superstar makes the list in Brock Lesnar, with the former UFC fighter incredible in the ring and is still one of the biggest names today. He was also the man tasked with ending The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak, an honour that couldn’t just go to anyone.

10. Macho Man Randy Savage
Macho Man Randy Savage was one of the most entertaining Superstars the company has ever had on its roster, with his incredibly hilarious promos in the 1980s, coupled with his in-ring talents, he makes the top 10 of this list, with even younger fans knowing who the Macho Man is.
9. Roman Reigns
Come back to this list in a few years and Roman Reigns could definitely be a major mover, with The Tribal Chief one of the longest standing champions in the history of WWE, not losing via pinfall or submission for over two years now, sensational.

8. John Cena
Probably the biggest shock on this list is seeing John Cena down at just eighth, everything he has achieved for the company, whilst helping catapult himself with the WWE to an even larger audience can’t be knocked. 7. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle’s athleticism at the time was unprecedented in the WWE, turning to wrestling after winning his Olympic gold medal. As an all-rounder, few could excel in all areas of the profession like he could.

6. Triple H
There’s no escaping the legend status Triple H has with the WWE, not only for his work as a performer, but even in his role now as Head of Creative. He was also a founding member of DX and is one of the most recognisable Superstars of all time.

Another major player in DX, Shawn Michaels has pipped his former companion to take a spot in the top five, with the Heartbreak Kid renowned for always putting on an exceptional match for the fans, with his WrestleMania spots some of the most memorable in the event’s history.

It would take a brave sole to leave The Rock outside their top three when it comes to greatest Superstars of all time, with his career catapulting him to worldwide stardom, there’s few names in Hollywood bigger than Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson today!

3. Hulk Hogan
The WWE we have today is in large, down to the part Hulk Hogan played in transforming the appeal of the show in the 1980s, making a ridiculous amount of money for the company, ensuring its place as a staple of television for years to come.

For many, The Deadman has to be at the top of their list, and the same can be said for myself, but he just misses out on top spot here, despite his main event longevity and being responsible for the greatest character development the company has ever seen. There’s no doubt about it, The Phenom will be on the lips of WWE fans for decades to come.

However, it is a more than worthy Superstar that keeps The Undertaker at bay, with Stone Cold Steve Austin clinching the gold medal on this list, he was a major reason for the organisation’s rise to the prime time on television and he is still at the forefront of so many conversations when talking about the WWE today.
