Fans still can't believe how WWE approved a brutal battle rap line from The Usos to Xavier Woods in 2017

WWE allowed a truly mental rap line from The Usos about Xavier Woods to air in 2017 and we still can't believe it.

In what remains one of the best tag team feuds of the 21st century, New Day and The Usos shared the ring several times in 2017.

Rather than their matches, which were incredible, it's a segment that the pair were part of that fans still look back on in disbelief.

What happened during The Usos' rap battle with New Day?

During the July 4 episode of SmackDown in 2017, hip hop artist Wale hosted a rap battle between the two iconic tag teams.

The battle featured the usual lines that you hear in these kinds of WWE segments, but things took a turn when Jey Uso got his hand on the mic.

Letâ€™s just keep it PG, you know whatâ€™s good. Just donâ€™t get all rated R like ya boy Xavier Woods.â€

As you can see from the footage below, as well as the quote above, Jey made reference to Xavier Woods' leaked adult tape with fellow WWE star Paige, which generated a rather loud reaction from the crowd.

Perhaps even more incredible was Wale's reaction, with it seeming like he hadn't been prepped about what was about to happen considering the aftermath of Jey's line.

WWE clearly didn't think that the line was in good taste, as it was edited out of the YouTube clip that was uploaded in the hours afterwards, despite being the line that fans were walking about after the fact.

To provide context, earlier on in the year, Paige was subjected to a hack of private images and videos, which explains why WWE decided to edit out the line from the recap video.
