CBS Sports host Kate Abdo showed off her impressive language skills following Wednesday night’s Champions League matches.

The Manchester-born broadcaster translated not one, not even two, but three interviews in three different languages.

Abdo, who previously worked for Sky Sports, first translated Kylian Mbappe’s interview from French to English after the Paris Saint-Germain superstar was named Player of the Match following his performance against Juventus.

She then translated Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde’s interview from Spanish to English.

Finally, she translated RB Leipzig manager Marco Rose’s post-match interview from German to English.

Abdo earned a fist-bump from Thierry Henry, while Micah Richards said: “Wow, Kate! Three interviews, three languages! The first one French, second one Spanish, third German. Das ist gut, Ja!”

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, however, was not quite as impressed.

“Hold on, don’t get too carried away, “ he said. “Can she do four? Can you do Scouse?”

Carragher then went full Scouse, really putting poor Kate to the test.

While she may need to work a little more on her Scouse, it’s hard not to be impressed by Abdo’s translating skills.

How many other presenters (especially English presenters) are able to speak and translate three different languages? It’s hard to think of any.

CBS Sports have changed the game in terms of Champions League coverage over the past couple of years.

Abdo, Henry, Carragher and Richards have excellent on-screen chemistry and regularly entertain football fans in the United States with their insight and humour.
