Tottenham ace Harry Kane has never been happier at his boyhood club, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

Kane has looked back to his best since Antonio Conte joined the club 12 months ago, but he's entered the final two years of his contract, which means his long-term future is far from secured.

What's the latest news involving Kane?

Kane really looks to be enjoying himself under Conte's guidance and having scored 31 goals and laid on 13 assists for the Italian, it's no surprise.

Despite the 29-year-old appearing to buy into the ex-Chelsea manager's methods, his contract situation is still hanging over him.

Back in May, the Evening Standard claimed that Kane was 'open' to signing a new deal, but the same outlet reported last month that talks won't happen until at least after the World Cup.

Kane, who tried to leave the club in the summer of 2021, is now focusing on finishing the first half of the season with Tottenham before leading England out in Qatar for what will be his fourth major tournament.

If Kane doesn't sign a contract extension before the end of this season, he will start next campaign in the final year of his deal.

But Bridge reckons that despite uncertainty over his future, the striker is happier than ever previously, with that solely down to Conte.

What did Bridge say about Kane?

When asked whether he thinks Kane will stay with Tottenham beyond his contract expiring, he told GIVEMESPORT: "I spoke to a close person to him a month ago and he told me he's never been happier, so that's another reason to be on the Antonio Conte bandwagon, because it is down to him."

How has Kane performed this season?

Kane's first part of the campaign has been mixed to say the least.

The England international is yet to really hit top form, but his goal and assist tally means he's still giving plenty to the team.

He made his best ever start to a Premier League season by scoring 10 goals in his first 11 games, with his penalty against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League taking his overall record to 12, while he's also registered three assists.

Kane has therefore been directly involved in 14 goals in 19 matches, with the latest of those a crucial assist for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's winner against Marseille.
