Tottenham Hotspur will not have a problem sending Djed Spence out on loan as Nottingham Forest could be among up to six Premier League clubs queueing up to strike a deal at Hotspur Way, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

The right-back only made the move from Middlesbrough during the summer transfer window, but he has found his opportunities limited in north London.

What's the latest news involving Spence?

Although Spence joined Tottenham in a deal worth up to £20million in July, it seems that he is on course to make a quickfire exit.

That is because transfer insider Dean Jones has previously told GIVEMESPORT that he expects the 22-year-old to be sent out on loan until the end of the season when the winter window opens for business.

It became abundantly clear that it would be difficult for Spence to force his way into the forefront of Spurs boss Antonio Conte's thinking when the Italian confirmed it was the club’s decision to negotiate the move and not his personal choice.

The summer arrival is still waiting for his full debut, having been restricted to substitute appearances in the Premier League.

But Spence has revealed that he feels his tactical knowledge has improved since heading to the capital and he is 'ready' to be offered a first start in Tottenham colours.

What has Michael Bridge said about Spence?

Bridge believes Nottingham Forest could be among the clubs willing to secure Spence's services on a temporary basis.

The journalist is certain that more than a quarter of the top flight clubs will be interested in striking a deal with Tottenham.

Bridge told GIVEMESPORT: "You would say that five or six Premier League clubs would take him on loan, maybe even Forest.

"He would think, himself, that he wouldn't want to go back down to the Championship but, if Spurs made him available for loan, I think they wouldn't have a problem. They'd loan him out tomorrow."

Should Tottenham send Spence out on loan?

Spence moved onto Spurs' radar thanks to an impressive loan spell with Nottingham Forest last season.

He showed his attacking and defensive capabilities by chalking up eight goal contributions in 46 outings for Steve Cooper's side.

Spence's performances were pivotal in Nottingham Forest earning promotion to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years, so it is clear that a temporary move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could result in him being rejuvenated when he returns to north London.

With Spurs being well stocked at right wing-back - thanks to the likes of Emerson Royal, Matt Doherty and Ivan Perisic providing Conte with options - it would make sense to sanction a loan switch.
