WWE Superstars Mustafa Ali and Braun Strowman exchanged some harsh words during an unexpected Twitter beef this afternoon.

The beef started when Ali took issue with one of Strowman's tweets, starting a rather brutal exchange between the colleagues on social media.

The move is the first time WWE stars have publicly called each other out on social media during Triple H's time running the company.

What happened with Braun Strowman & Mustafa Ali?

Taking to Twitter today, Strowman posted a flurry of rather passionate tweets, some of which fans have taken particular issue with.

Fans weren't the only ones not liking Strowman's tweet, however, as fellow WWE Superstar Mustafa Ali also took issue with someone that his colleague had to say.

Strowman tweeted Omos today, his opponent from Crown Jewel, to comment on the praise that their match has been receiving online.

Braun said that big-man matches were better than "flippy flipper" matches, which Ali took issue with, jokingly that Strowman should teach him how to get fired, as you can see below.

The remark from Ali was obviously not only a reference to Strowman's comments, but also to his request to leave WWE in January.

Strowman then clapped back at Ali, claiming that his colleague was "working in catering", a joke about the fact that he's unable to get onto every WWE show.

Ali didn't let the issue end there though, and fired back at Braun, claiming that he was in catering "cooking" Strowman, as you can see below.

Braun has yet to respond to Ali's latest tweet, but has been active otherwise on Twitter, so it seems like the issues between the pair are, at least publicly, finished for now.

What is the issue between Mustafa Ali and Braun Strowman?

Unfortunately for Braun, this isn't the first time that people have taken issue with someone he tweeted, with the former Universal Champion getting heat for comments he made about independent workers back in 2020.

It's unlikely that Ali and Strowman's tweets were in character, building to a feud between the two, considering that they're on different brands and are both busy with other stories right now.

So it seems like there are some legitimate issues between Ali and Strowman right now, which Triple H will be looking to nip in the bud before they develop into something much bigger.
