Chris Jericho is one of professional wrestling’s all-time greats.

He has been active in the industry for over 30 years and has obviously seen a lot of things change during that timeframe, but one constant seems to stay the same and that is his levels of success.

He holds the record for most reigns with WWE’s Intercontinental Championship, having held the title nine times, and he is also a six-time world champion.

One of his greatest assets is his ability to adapt and create new version of himself. There are countless iterations of Chris Jericho, including ‘Lionheart’, ‘Y2J’ and currently ‘The Wizard’.

He is an incredibly versatile performer with the ability to be in serious feuds and comedy segments.

Chris Jericho's career in wrestling

Having been in WWE since 1999, Jericho shocked the world by agreeing to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He worked a match against Kenny Omega in 2017, which suggested that the door was open for Jericho to explore other opportunities in the wrestling world.

Many people expected Jericho to never work for another American company, but the groundwork had been laid and, in 2019, he was part of the launch of All Elite Wrestling.

He was the company’s first ever world champion with a title reign of 182 days. He’s been integral to the success of the promotion and still finds himself there today.

Currently, he’s the leader of the Jericho Appreciation Society as his character looks to return to the ‘sports entertainment’ ways of the WWE rather than the more in-ring focused product that AEW puts out. He’s on Dynamite every week and still at the top of his game.

You would imagine that, having been in the ring for over three decades, his body would have suffered throughout the years. Jericho has been through some serious punishment throughout his career, but, at the age of 52, he still looks in incredible shape.

On Twitter, Jericho has shared a picture of himself with his age as the caption, highlighting just how good he looks despite his decades in the ring.

A Redditor also shared a comparison of Jericho’s physique eight months ago using two photos from recent times to show his awesome transformation.

Jericho is incredibly committed and has always made time for wrestling alongside his other interests. He remains ever present on AEW’s weekly shows and is one of their most important leaders backstage.
