England's 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup was announced on Thursday afternoon by Gareth Southgate.

Harry Kane is England's star player and there was no doubts about his inclusion.

Joining him in travelling to Qatar are the likes of Raheem Sterling, Declan Rice, Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka.

Callum Wilson and James Maddison also forced their way into the squad courtesy of their red-hot form over the past few weeks.

But there was no place for Fikayo Tomori and Ivan Toney, who both narrowly missed out.

Of the 26 players, 25 of them play in the Premier League. The only one not plying their trade in English football is Borussia Dortmund star, Jude Bellingham.
