What's the latest news involving Ronaldo?

In a tell-all interview with journalist Piers Morgan, Ronaldo has revealed that he feels betrayed by Manchester United and boss Erik ten Hag, along with senior executives, is trying to force him out of the club.

The 37-year-old has also acknowledged that he does not see eye-to-eye with ten Hag and claimed: "I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me."

Manchester United have reacted to the explosive interview by releasing a statement which insists they will only take action ‘after the full facts have been established’.

It is understood that the Red Devils are considering tearing up Ronaldo's contract after being left incensed by what has been said by the former Real Madrid man.

Romano has previously told GIVEMESPORT that ten Hag is 'furious' by the frontman's outburst and feels 'disrespect' has been shown.

What has Fabrizio Romano said about Ronaldo?

Romano believes there is a strong possibility that Ronaldo will depart Manchester United after publicly criticising various members of the club.

The respected Italian journalist is confident that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will not add to his 346 appearances for the Red Devils.

Romano told GIVEMESPORT: "I think, after his interview, there is more than a good chance that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Manchester United.

"I don't see how they can resolve the situation and continue together after an interview when you attack the club."

Who could Ronaldo join from Manchester United?

According to the Daily Mail, Ronaldo held talks with Bayern Munich after officials from the reigning Bundesliga champions travelled to England last week.

The report suggests Jorge Mendes - the 191-cap Portugal international's agent - touted Ronaldo to Bayern and the likes of Chelsea, Sporting and Napoli during the summer, while he also spoke to Newcastle United last month.

Mendes will reportedly offer Ronaldo to Chelsea again in the coming weeks, but a move to Stamford Bridge remains complicated.

It is understood that Paris Saint-Germain are not interested in striking a deal as they are focused on signing alternative targets.

Ronaldo, whose £480,000-per-week contract is due to expire next summer, is almost certain to move onto pastures new in the not-too-distant future.
