Triple H wants a 'passionate' released WWE star to return, and could come back in a two-for-one deal

Triple H is a big fan of Matt Cardona and could bring him back to WWE as part of a "two-for-one" deal.

Cardona (formerly Zack Ryder) was released by WWE in 2020, but could be brought back by Triple H soon, it's been claimed.

Matt wouldn't come back alone though, as WWE higher-ups are also said to want to bring back his wife, Chelsea Green.

Is Matt Cardona returning to WWE?

Triple H has brought back several released WWE stars since becoming Chief Content Officer in July, including Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman and Johnny Gargano.

The "passionate" Matt Cardona could be next on that list, with WrestleVotes telling GiveMeSport during an exclusive interview that Triple H is a big fan of his, which could enable him to return.

I've heard because he's done on the indies that Hunter is a fan of his. Cardona is not shy about being a lifelong fan and Hunter likes people that that don't shy away from growing up in this business. Hunter would 100% take Matt Cardona back, but I don't know if that offer has been extended.

There's also interest in Chelsea Green, Cardona's wife, with WrestleVotes speculating that Triple H could look to bring them both in at the same time, as WWE did with Maria and Mike Kanellis in 2017.

If he comes in with Chelsea Green, I don't know. I know he really wants Chelsea back. Specifically, I know Shawn Michaels loves Chelsea Green, so if they want her you would think they kind of make a two-for-one offer, like we'll take both you guys if you want.

It could be a big few weeks for the Cardona household, with there seemingly being the possibility of both Matt and Chelsea coming back to WWE over the coming weeks.

Is Chelsea Green returning to WWE too?

The feeling is that WWE really wants Chelsea Green to return to the company too in a move that would see her land straight on the main roster.

WrestleVotes also spoke about the prospect of Green coming back to WWE, noting that they expect to see her return.

I would assume she comes back from what I've been told they do like her, specifically Shawn, and although she'd be would be working main roster from what I'm told, she's got supporters there.
