Chelsea 'want to sign the best young players from around the world' and are 'trying to tempt' Palmeiras talent Endrick to Stamford Bridge, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

Having parted with £20million to lure Carney Chukwuemeka away from Aston Villa and sealed the arrival of fellow teenager Gabriel Slonina during the summer transfer window, the Blues have set their sights on recruiting another up-and-coming star.

What's the latest news involving Endrick?

Romano has revealed that Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are pushing to sign Endrick, who has a release clause worth close to £52million written into his Palmeiras contract.

The Blues seem to have moved into pole position for the 16-year-old's services as, according to ESPN Brazil, his preference is to secure a switch to Stamford Bridge.

The report suggests PSG have already had two bids, with the latter matching the four-cap Brazil under-17 international's release clause, rejected by Palmeiras.

Chelsea have upped the ante in their pursuit by reportedly hosting Endrick and his family at their Cobham training ground before introducing him to Thiago Silva.

The South American made history when he became the youngest player to feature for Palmeiras last month, while he has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Barcelona, Ajax and Benfica.

What has Fabrizio Romano said about Endrick?

Romano understands that Chelsea have set their sights on landing Endrick as they want to secure the world's most exciting young talent.

However, the respected Italian journalist believes PSG and Real Madrid remain in the hunt for the teenager's signature.

Romano told GIVEMESPORT: "Chelsea are offering their young players project. They want to sign the best young players from around the world, so they're trying to tempt Endrick and his family with this kind of project.

"Paris Saint-Germain probably have the best talent scout in the world - in Luis Campos - who did an incredible job with Monaco and Lille. Now he's at Paris Saint-Germain, so he's trying to tempt the player with this kind of idea.

"Real Madrid are Real Madrid. Also, the connection they have with his agents is very good because he has the same agents as Vinicius Junior. Vinicius and Rodrigo are two stars at Real Madrid, so they have Brazilian players and it could help Endrick to adapt quickly."

Would Endrick be an exciting signing for Chelsea?

It is understood that Endrick bagged 165 goals in 169 appearances for Palmeiras' academy side, which emphasises the fact he is a born finisher.

He has remained clinical at senior level, finding the back of the net three times in just 306 minutes of action.

In an interview with ESPN, via 90min, Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus described his fellow countryman as a 'phenomenon' and it is difficult to argue against that.

Chelsea boss Graham Potter and Todd Boehly, who led a £4.25billion takeover in May, should do all they can to win the race for Endrick.
