Conor Coady had Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker in stitches when answering the eternal Steven Gerrard vs Frank Lampard vs Paul Scholes debate.

Gareth Southgate included the trio in his 26-man squad for the World Cup last week.

There are doubts about Walker's fitness but, despite not playing for Manchester City since the start of October due to injury, he was included in the squad.

The three recently sat down with SPORTbible in collaboration with Budweiser.

Coady was the presenter and asked Sterling and Walker a number of England-related questions that they could either agree or disagree with.

One of the questions was: Steven Gerrard is the greatest England midfielder of all-time - agree or disagree?

What followed was a classic Gerrard vs Lampard vs Scholes debate that has waged for many years and is still as controversial as ever.

Walker: "I'm not strongly disagreeing. But I'm disagreeing. I could quite easily go to agree as well..."

Sterling: "I've got two of them and I can't go against one of them. I agree because there's two of them. Paul Scholes and Steven Gerrard."

Walker: "Lampard? We've had this debate all the time. I think there's three of them. Lampard is in as well. Gerrard is the best all-time English midfielder? I have to disagree. He's not a standout."

Sterling: "Yeah I agree there's three of them..."

Coady: "That's not the question. We're not agreeing there's three best. We're saying Gerrard's the best..."

Sterling then moves his bottle from agree to disagree as he can't separate Gerrard, Lampard and Scholes.

Walker proceeds to ask Coady his thoughts and the centre-back said without hesitation: "Frank Lampard."

Coady played alongside Gerrard at Liverpool but gave the nod to Lampard as he is his current manager at Everton. His answer had his two England teammates in hysterics.

The video has gone down well with fans on social media with many commending Coady's personality. You can view some reaction below...
