Madden 23 is one of the biggest releases of the year when it comes to sports games but how exactly do you perform a celebration run in the game to flex on your opponents?

The incredibly detailed recreation of American Football is one of our favourites of the year, and we reviewed it upon its release.

We gave it a score of 8/10, and it’s one of the most realistic recreations of the sport we’ve seen on next-generation consoles.

One of the best things to do in Madden 23, of course, is to orchestrate a beautiful play, get beyond the defensive line, and have your offensive player break out a celebration run as he crosses the line for the touchdown.

But how exactly do you go about doing that? We’ve got you covered!

How to do a celebration run in Madden 23

Madden 23

Celebration runs are really easy to perform.

You just need to hold down both shoulder buttons on your controller, with the A button on Xbox and the X button on PlayStation.

If you do it right, your runner will showboat as they approach the end zone.

It’s a fun thing to experiment with as each player has a different type of celebration run, so you can get some really interesting little touches. However, there is a trade-off.

Is it risky doing a Celebration Run in Madden 23?

Performing a celebration run will slow you down significantly, so only break it out if you’re absolutely sure that you’re not going to be sacked from behind.

As a result, make sure that you’ve performed a play that allows you plenty of space to sprint into before you click in your shoulder buttons and press A or X.

Also, be a considerate player in multiplayer and don’t abuse the mechanic, as it could be quite irritating for your opponents!

Other than that, happy flexing.
