The other pundit for ITV, Joe Cole, admitted he also thought it was a penalty which left Keane even more exacerbated.

Messi rolled in the penalty to give Argentina an early lead. And it looked as though Argentina would go on to beat their opponents comfortably in the first half.

It was an opening 45 minutes in which the Argentines had THREE goals disallowed for offside with Messi and Lautatro Martinez twice getting caught by the offside trap.

And then the unthinkable happened after half time.

Saleh Alshehri equalised just minutes into the second half for Saudi before Salem Aldawsari made it 2-1 just five minutes later.

Incredible.

Suddenly, Argentina's penalty award was no longer a huge talking point.
