Saudi Arabia shocked the world on Tuesday by beating the mighty Argentina in their opening World Cup game.

The South American giants went into the encounter off the back of a 36-game unbeaten streak.

A streak which saw them claim the UEFA Cup of Champions earlier on this year, beating Italy in the final at Wembley.

As a result of their tremendous pre-tournament form, Lionel Messi and his teammates were dubbed one of the favourites to win the lot in Qatar.

But based on the evidence of their first match, the Argentines have a long, long way to go if they want to even reach the latter stages, never mind the final.

That's not to take anything away from Saudi Arabia, though, who were in inspired form on the day.

The motivation of each and every player was there for all to see. So much so, that it seemed like every tackle a Saudi player steamed into was the last one they would ever make in the beautiful game.

It was the courage and desire of the underdogs that got them over the line, along with two fabulous goals that knocked Argentina for six.

After Messi opened the scoring from the spot in the 10th minute of play, Saudi were at odds of 500/1 with the bookies to win.

Yet, they defied that lengthy price and achieved what many thought to be impossible.

It's hardly a surprise then, that Saudi fans were understandably losing their mind as they watched their team triumph over arguably the greatest player of all-time and his international superpower team.

Some in particular, will probably never celebrate as hard again - and that fact is certainly true for one supporter, who was caught on camera actually ripping a door off its hinges in some of the wildest scenes you'll ever see.

And it's not even like he realises his mistake, he just defiantly chucks it against a wall and carries on losing his mind.

Ah well, you've got to respect the passion. The World Cup, ey? What a time.
