Tottenham Hotspur will be at the "front" of the queue if Anthony Gordon becomes available for a switch, according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.

If a move does become a possibility, the journalist indicates that Tottenham will be one of the main teams interested in the starlet's services, telling GIVEMESPORT: "I think they've always had that interest in Anthony Gordon, that's not going to go away.

"Obviously, the longer he goes without signing a new contract at Everton, it's always going to leave the door open for a potential move away from Goodison Park, and I think if he does end up leaving Everton, Tottenham are going to be right at the front of the queue to try and sign Gordon."

Hailed as a "huge player" for Everton by current manager Frank Lampard, the youngster has featured in 14 of the Toffees' 15 Premier League matches this season, highlighting his importance to the team.
