What. A. Player.

As mentioned, Musiala could have represented England having spent time at Southampton and Chelsea at their youth, as well as playing for England at U15, U16, U17 and U21 level.

Roy Keane: 'Nice to see' Musiala choose Germany

While England supporters will be cursing that Musiala chose Germany, ITV pundit Roy Keane backs his decision.

"It's nice to see England get a taste of their own medicine because they took players... (Declan) Rice, (Jack) Grealish - don't get me started on that," Keane joked.

"When players make that decision it's not easy, you have to respect it, of course."

Germany lose to Japan

Despite Musiala's best efforts, he couldn't stop Germany from avoiding a shock defeat to Japan.

Germany led with 15 minutes remaining but goals from Ritsu Doan and Takuma Asano completed an incredible comeback and another World Cup shock.
