Gavi is now the third youngest goalscorer in World Cup history behind Pele and Manuel Rosas.

He is the youngest goal scorer ever for Spain at the tournament. He really is a special talent.

Spain go on to smash Costa Rica 7-0

There was still time for two more goals as Spain hit their opponents for seven.

Carlos Soler scored Spain's sixth in the 90th minute, before Morata rounded out the scoring shortly after.

Spain were completely dominant in their match at Al Thumama Stadium and were well worth their victory.

They look as if they will take some stopping as they bid to win their second World Cup trophy.

Enrique's side are next in action on November 27 when they take on Germany in a mouthwatering clash.

Germany were shocked 2-1 by Japan in their first match and need to win if they are to stand any chance of progressing to the knockout rounds.
