Japan and Costa Rica go head to head in their second Group E match at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and we can reveal the TV Channel the game is on as well as the team news.

Japan picked up a huge shock win against 2014 World Champions Germany, whilst Costa Rica were battered 7-0 by Spain.

With this in mind, both sides need to pick up three points to not make the third and final group stage match any tenser than it needs to be.

The 2022 World Cup has already produced lots of shocks and surprises, and despite there being a few 0-0 draws, many have been very happy with what they have seen.

The match between Costa Rica and Japan at the 2022 World Cup will be available in the UK on Freeview TV. The TV channel the match will be on is ITV One and ITV One HD, with kick-off at 10 AM GMT.

The match will be available to live stream for residents in the UK on ITV X but you will need a TV licence to be able to log in and watch the game. Signing up to ITV X is free and will only take you a minute or two.

Both sides have no injury concerns ahead of this match and this is great; however, with all three of Japan's subs involved in the goals against Germany, manager Hajime Moriyasu will have a big selection headache.

Japan are the favourites for this match, and understandably so after their matchday one win against Germany.

Prediction

Both Nations had very different starts to the World Cup, but this game will be a lot more tight and nervy. We expect Japan to come out on top as their squad is just that little bit better than Costa Rica.
