LA Knight, despite rumours to the contrary, isn't set to win next year's WWE Money in the Bank ladder match.

Over the last few weeks, rumours have indicated that WWE had already decided that LA Knight would win the 2023 men's Money in the Bank ladder match.

However, despite WWE's new management team clearly likely Knight's work, Fightful Select is reporting that he isn't currently slated to win the marquee match.

Is LA Knight going to win Money in the Bank 2023?

As noted, the last few weeks have seen rumours circulating that LA Knight is set to win Money in the Bank next year.

However, Fightful Select is reporting that it definitely has not been decided yet with regards to who is winning next year's ladder match.

In addition, there was a rumor that LA Knight was already penciled in to win Money in the Bank next year. One source we asked took particular exception with that.

The report explained that WWE didn't have its plans for the big match next year all figured out, so LA Knight had definitely not yet been decided as the winner internally.

One source said "I like LA Knight, but we don't even have definitive plans across the board for months down the line, much less next year's Money in the Bank."

LA Knight could be brought back to WWE TV by Triple H

LA Knight could be brought back to WWE TV by Triple H

The sources notes that if WWE had already decided to give LA Knight the win in 2023, they'd likely have just had him beat Austin Theory for his briefcase, which he lost just a few weeks ago.

If we wanted it on him so bad, it wouldn't have been hard to take Theory's to put on him. I've never heard him discussed in the same conversation as Money in the Bank.

Latest news on LA Knight

LA Knight, after changing over from his Max Dupri gimmick under Triple H, is now one of the featured stars on SmackDown.

In a move that no one expected Knight has been revealed as the first rival for Bray Wyatt, who came back to WWE at Extreme Rules at the beginning of October.

When it was rumoured that Bray was on his way back to WWE, no one expected his first feud to be with Knight, but fans have enjoyed seeing the pair work together on TV, and are excited for their eventual match.
