Sky News reporter has a nightmare with Wales fans

The win?

That's one way to annoy a group of fans. Telling them they had just won when they had lost in devastating circumstances.

Then, when he did ask about the loss, one Wales fan summed it up with one explicit word.

While you have to feel sorry for Alistair's slip of the tongue, it did make fantastic TV for us.

After the match, Wales star man Gareth Bale admitted that it's going to be tough for them to reach the last-16 now.

"It's gutting - there's no other way to say it," Bale said.

"We fought till the end but it's difficult when you go down to 10 men in the World Cup against good teams.

"We have to keep going and we have to pick ourselves up straight away. It will be difficult now, but we have to try to beat England - it's as simple as that."
