Ronda Rousey is the current SmackDown Women’s champion in the WWE, something she put on the line against Shotzi. Rowdy was able to successfully defend her title she won after dethroning Liv Morgan.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet will be delighted to still be the champion, although the fans aren’t convinced by her having the title, especially after last night’s performance.
A valiant underdog, Shotzi gave a very good account of herself during the match, she clearly has a huge future in the business.

It was a match that tried everything to entertain the fans, despite the perceived dominant champion vs valiant underdog build-up the match received, with the champ asserting her dominance from the off in the clash.
At one point, the pair were even fighting in the crowd, which will have given those in attendance, especially in that area of the arena, a moment to cherish and one they probably didn’t think they’d get.
However, it wasn’t the case of unreal entertainment for most of the fans, with plenty taking to social media to complain about Ronda Rousey’s performance, in particular her botched sell for a DDT which was pretty woeful.

Obviously, a botched sell in the WWE is something that will frustrate fans massively, especially in key moments of the match or in major title matches such as this, so when Ronda Rousey botched her sell, fans were quick to clip the moment and share it on social media.
Shotzi was on the top rope, ready to perform a DDT on Ronda Rousey, but the latter botched it, meaning Shotzi had to pull out of her move, leaving us with a pretty bland, strange moment which could have been so much more with the pair flying to the floor outside of the ring.
The fans weren’t happy, taking to social media to complain, one said: “She can’t wrestle for s**t but she’s still the champion, why???â€

Someone else added: “Worst match of the night. Shotzi deserves a match with someone who is actually good in the ring.â€
Another fan claimed: “She p****d me off so much during that spot.â€
Whilst another WWE fan claimed: “She is about as exciting to watch as watching paint dry.â€
There’s plenty more where that came from as well, the fans are clearly unhappy with Ronda Rousey and aren’t enjoying her as the champion.
