Triple H's plans for a big Roman Reigns v Sami Zayn match in WWE in 2023 have now been leaked in a new report

Sami Zayn will face Roman Reigns at WWE Elimination Chamber in February 2023, it has been claimed.

A new report has revealed that the two Bloodline members will share the ring for a big match in Montreal, Zayn's hometown.

The match is expected to be Reigns' final match until WrestleMania 39, where he's expected to face his real-life cousin, The Rock.

What are Triple H's plans for Roman Reigns v Sami Zayn?

Sami Zayn, with his work with The Bloodline, is now thought of by many fans as the hottest star in all of WWE, an it's hard to argue with that.

Triple H has picked up on that, it would seem, and is planning on a big match between Zayn and Roman Reigns for the first few months of 2023.

WrestlingNews.co explains that while a match between the two was discussed for the Royal Rumble, it'll instead take place at Elimination Chamber in February 2023.

We heard discussions about Sami Zayn facing Roman Reigns in a singles match at the Rumble but we're told that the Zayn vs. Reigns match is not going to happen until the February Elimination Chamber pay-per-view happening in his hometown of Montreal.

Speaking of Reigns at the Royal Rumble, the same report notes that 'The Tribal Chief' will be defending his titles at the show against Kevin Owens, which you can read more about by clicking here.

What happened with Sami Zayn at Survivor Series: WarGames?

While there is now talk of a match between Zayn and Reigns, the bond between Sami and The Bloodline is now stronger than it's ever been.

After turning on Owens to help The Bloodline win at WarGames last night, Zayn was finally accepted into Roman's faction by all the members, including Jey Uso, who he's had issues with for the last few weeks.

Some fans thought that Zayn may have been kicked out of The Bloodline last night, but Triple H has clearly picked up on how popular the act is right now and opted to keep him in.

However, as this report proves, the plan is still to remove him from The Bloodline soon, allowing him to turn face and have a one-on-one match with Reigns in 2023.
