A huge fixture in Group G here as the Portuguese take on the Uruguayans in what is probably the pick of this group's games. A plethora of talent will be on the pitch as veteran strikers lead the way in terms of quality with Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez all set to share the pitch.

Portugal go into this one off the back of a win, whereas Uruguay could only obtain a draw against Ghana - which makes these points crucial.

The two sides will face each other on Monday 28th November 2022. For those in the UK, the time this Group H match will kick off is at 7 PM GMT.

The match between Portugal and Uruguay at the 2022 World Cup will be available in the UK on Freeview TV. The TV channel the match will be on is ITV One and ITV One HD.

Team News

There are a couple of players who are doubtful for this game. Portugal may be without Otavio and Nuno Mendes who are both sustaining muscle injuries but will definitely be without Danilo Pereira who suffered a broken rib.

As for Uruguay, a big loss for them will be Barcelona's Ronald Araujo. He has a hip injury and is also doubtful.
