Chelsea are 'willing to listen to offers' for Stamford Bridge star Christian Pulisic and remain hopeful of driving up his price tag thanks to an eye-catching World Cup, according to journalist Paul Brown.

The winger has been on the Blues' books since joining from Borussia Dortmund for £58million - per BBC Sport - in 2019, but he is not at the forefront of head coach Graham Potter's plans.

Chelsea transfer news - Christian Pulisic

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United and Newcastle United are monitoring Pulisic's World Cup performances after making enquiries in August, while Arsenal are also showing an interest.

ESPN have revealed that the American is expected to leave Chelsea when the transfer window reopens in January and Manchester United are open to negotiating a loan move.

As per Spanish sources, a move to Serie A could also be on the cards as Inter Milan and Juventus are battling it out for Pulisic’s signature.

The 24-year-old is set to enter the final 18 months of his Chelsea contract, which is worth £150,000-per-week according to Spotrac, at the turn of the year.

Transfermarkt statistics show Pulisic has only been handed four starts since Potter moved into the Stamford Bridge dugout.

What has Paul Brown said about Pulisic?

Brown believes Chelsea are hopeful of Pulisic having an eye-catching World Cup as it would help to recoup a significant sum for his services.

The journalist understands the west Londoners have been willing to offload the big-money star for a prolonged period and, as a result, he could be on the move in the coming months.

Brown told GIVEMESPORT: "I think it would certainly help if Pulisic has a great tournament.

"He's someone that Chelsea have been willing to listen to offers for over the last few windows.

"He doesn't seem to have a big future at the club. He hasn't played much in the last few weeks and he didn't play much under the previous manager either."

How has Pulisic performed at the World Cup?

Pulisic has taken his tally of United States caps up to 54, according to Transfermarkt, and there is no doubt that he has made a lasting impression during the opening two group stage clashes at the World Cup.

As per SofaScore, the Chelsea man struck the woodwork, had two shots blocked and won six ground duels as his side were involved in a goalless draw with England.

That eye-catching performance came after Pulisic gained a 6.7 match rating, according to WhoScored, while he also grabbed an assist in the group stage-opening stalemate with Wales.
