Serbia vs Cameroon proved to be one of the games of the 2022 World Cup so far after a truly dramatic 90 minutes.

With both sides in desperate need of win, they threw caution to the wind and pushed forward, resulting in a quite frantic game of football in Qatar.

The African side were pegged back in first-half injury time after taking the lead on the half hour mark and ultimately went into the break behind as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic added to Strahinja Pavlovic's strike only seconds later.

Things then got worse for the African nation as Serbia struck again eight minutes after the break.

However, they were right back in the thick of things in the second stanza thanks to a quite sultry finish from Vincent Aboubakar.

Vincent Aboubakar scores goal of the tournament contender

The Cameroonian made what is a truly tricky finish look like child's play as he chipped the on-rushing goalkeeper having already sent a defender packing with a cheeky touch.

It's possible that Aboubakar's nonchalance was due to the fact that he felt he may have strayed offside after being given the freedom of Qatar by the Serbian defence.

You can check out the goal in the footage below.

Brilliant - the audacity is just off the charts.

Vincent Aboubakar's comments about Mohamed Salah

Aboubakar's filthy finish comes after he was widely panned by fans and experts alike for his comments surrounding Liverpool's Mohamed Salah at the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

Aboubakar pulled no punches as he highlighted just how little Salah, who has been one of the best players in the world over the last few seasons, impresses him.

“He doesn’t impress me much,” Aboubakar, said to French outlet RFI.

“I say it clearly because I’m an honest person and I have my way of seeing things.

“If he impressed me, I would say so. But he doesn’t impress me much. He’s a good player, he scores a lot but he doesn't produce a lot of stuff in the game.

“Of course, he’s doing good stuff in the Premier League because he’s been in a team that’s been there for years. He’s a good player but not at the level of someone like (Kylian) Mbappe.”

We can only hope Salah was watching as Aboubakar showed him how it's done in Qatar.
