Roman Reigns was said to be "visibly upset" backstage after the main event of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.

WWE fans were incredibly happy with the main event of Survivor Series, but Roman didn't seem to feel the same way.

Reports state that the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion was unhappy with a spot that happened during the match, and wasn't shy in making that clear.

What happened with Roman Reigns after Survivor Series?

As noted, the feeling coming out of WarGames was overwhelmingly positive, but one person that wasn't too happy was Roman Reigns.

Fightful Select is reporting that Reigns was unhappy with an "unplanned spot" that took place between him and Kevin Owens during the main event.

Fightful Select has learned that Roman Reigns was visibly upset after the Survivor Series main event, specifically about a spot within the match. It was rumored among those that we spoke with that Reigns took exception to what he perceived as an unplanned spot between he and Kevin Owens.

The report then goes on to say that Reigns feared he had suffered a ruptured ear drum during the spot, which would explain his anger at what went down.

As he walked backstage, he mentioned possibly having a ruptured ear drum, and wanted the spot to go as originally planned. The exclamation was said to have been "expletive filled" and it was clear to everyone that Reigns wasn't happy.

It's worth noting that at the time of writing, there's no word on if Reigns' fears are correct and he did suffer the injury during the match.

The report does describe the heated exchange as being in "the heat of the moment", and said that they'd expect Roman and KO to sort out their issues and work together.

What are WWE's plans for Roman Reigns & Kevin Owens

WWE will be hoping that Reigns and Owens can sort out their issues, as reports state that their set for a big match for Roman's titles at the Royal Rumble next year.

The Royal Rumble, which is WWE's next pay-per-view event on January 28, will see Owens challenge for Reigns' titles, at least according to WrestlingNews.co.

So Triple H will be hoping that over the next two months, the potential issues between both men resolve themselves, ensuring that there are no issues ahead of their big title match next year.
