Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora went at it in London with the former coming out on top, winning the bout in the tenth round.

Whether you were keeping tabs on it or not, whether you cared about it or not, you can’t deny that these are two of the biggest names in heavyweight boxing currently.

There was a lot of negativity surrounding the fight given the rumours a Fury clash with Anthony Joshua that proceeded it.

Chisora was the man to enter the ring either way though and for the third time he crossed paths with the Gypsy King. For the third time also, Fury prevailed.

Fury once again retained the belts and the pair displayed a respectable level of respect post-bout. Apart from the fiercest of rivalries, there is always an element of this in the boxing world.

Two fighters give the big talk in the build-up and after trying to knock the stuffing out of each other, they hug and are the best of friends.

Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora 3 ends as expected

Fury and Chisora have both had their fair share of grudge matches, but that wasn’t the case here.

After the bell going in the 10th round in favour of the defending champion, the pair embraced with an aurora of mutual respect.

The victor, Fury, made his way over to his opponent’s corner to not only check on Chisora but also to show that love for a fellow boxer.

The camera then pans to ringside where the biggest stars sit. This was no exception with fellow heavyweight duo Joe Joyce and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk watching on as the two fighters converse.

As Fury returns to his corner, it is Chisora’s team’s turn to show love to their man and they of course have to keep his head above water too.

There can’t be many more devastating feelings than that after you have lost a fight and feel so very alone in the world.

On the topic of the champion and after facing Derek ‘War’ Chisora, attentions can already turn to what is next.

One of the men sitting ringside seems a shoo-in to cross paths with Fury at some point in the near future. Usyk beat AJ twice as well as overcoming Chisora and so is sure to be in the conversation.

He has been a late bloomer when it comes to the biggest lights of all, and a fight against Tyson Fury would be the pinnacle of that.
