Tyson Fury has claimed that Joe Joyce is a “tougher fight” than a bout with Oleksandr Usyk.

A dominant performance from Tyson Fury last night, saw the Gypsy King beat Derek Chisora in the tenth round in a trilogy match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Following his win against Chisora, Fury began to call out Usyk while in the ring, claiming that the Ukrainian was “next”.

After the two faced off in the ring to exchange words, WBO interim heavyweight champion, Joyce also entered the ring to get his chance to hype up a potential fight against Fury.

In the post-fight press conference, Fury strongly believed that Joyce was a much tougher fight than if he was to face off against the Ring world heavyweight champion that is Usyk.

Fury said: “Usyk is a slicker boxer, but Joe Joyce is a juggernaut and I think that Joe gives me a tougher fight than Usyk.

Tyson Fury speaks on Joe Joyce and Oleksandr Usyk

“Big Joe, six foot seven and 19 and a half stone like a juggernaut coming forward at me, trying to smash me to pieces, or Usyk trying to steal a jab running round the ring, trying to nick a point here and there.

"So, I think that Usyk is a very good fighter, I'm not going to take anything away from him, he was the undisputed cruiserweight champion and he's the unified heavyweight champion, so he's had a fantastic career. I think I'm going to do a job on him”

Fury then went on to say that he would love to see Deontay Wilder fight Joyce while he fights Usyk.

“I don't think there is anyone in the world that can take Deontay Wilder’s power. If I fight Usyk then maybe Joe could fight Wilder.

“The world's toughest man versus the world’s biggest puncher that would be fantastic”

Deontay Wilder has only fought once since his defeat to Fury last year, when he defeated Robert Helenius in October, beating the Finnish fighter with a first-round knockout.Â
