Tom Brady and his conversation with New York Yankees star Aaron Judge has got a lot of people discussing the quarterback’s future.

The 2022 NFL season has certainly been an interesting one for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With Brady having ended last season as the league’s leader in both passing yards and touchdowns, and the Buccaneers winning the NFC South with a 13-4 record, you’d be forgiven for thinking this might be another year of dominance for both.

The reality though is anything but, as the Buccaneers are 5-6 heading into December, and Brady is 6th and joint 16th in passing yards and touchdowns respectively. And whilst their record is still good enough to lead the division, it certainly doesn’t feel like it after some of the performances they’ve put in this season.

However, despite going in the wrong direction, and the fact that by the time next season starts he will be 46, there is already some talk about what Brady’s plans might be for the 2023 season, with some suggestion that he could even make a return to the New England Patriots, the side he left after the 2019 season.

But one conversation that took place before he took the field for the Buccaneers’ Monday Night Football game against the New Orleans Saints has people thinking that he might be on his way to the other side of the country and closer to where he started his football career.

Tom Brady and Aaron Judge looking to head out west?

Before their game with the Saints, Brady was spotted talking to New York Yankees star slugger Aaron Judge, who last season hit 62 home runs, the most ever by a hitter in Major League Baseball’s American League, and whose future is also in question as baseball goes through free agency.

Video: Tom Brady meets with Aaron Judge:

Judge is currently looking to play somewhere that he can take his slugging powers and go down as one of the best power hitters of all-time. Some suggestions are that Judge could be on his way to San Francisco to play for the Giants, the team he grew up supporting, and it just so happens that Brady has a connection with the area as well.

The quarterback was born and raised in San Mateo, California, and went to high school less than 20 miles away from the San Francisco 49ers’ former stadium Candlestick Park.

Combine that with the uncertainty surrounding the 49ers’ quarterback situation with Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo both injured, and the fact that Brady will be looking for a new team to play for next year, and that he has spoken about wanting to play for them given he supported them growing up… you can probably see where this is going.

And that was pretty much the conclusion that a lot of fans on social media came up with when they saw the video on their timeline, as they felt that this could be the start of Brady’s move back to the Bay Area:

Obviously, it could just be two stars at their sport enjoying time together, but if the improbable does happen, and both men make the move to San Francisco, then these fans will be able to say just how right they were.
