A very exciting match is upon us in the 2022 World Cup Quarter-Finals as England play France for a chance to reach the final four of the competition.

It has been very exciting watching both of these European nations play in this tournament, as they have been scoring goals for fun.

England beat Senegal 3-0 in the last 16, whilst France beat Poland 3-1, and it will be very interesting to see how this Quarter-Final tie plays out.

With the World Cup final so close, both nations will no doubt be a little nervy, but with some of the best players on the planet in this match, it should be a very exciting one.

England will play France in the Quarter-Finals of the World Cup on Saturday, 10th December 2022. Kick-off for this match, for those in the UK, is 7 PM GMT.


Who could England play in the Semi-Finals?

If England play at their best and beat World Champions France, they will face one of Portugal, Spain, Morocco or Switzerland in the Semi-Finals of the World Cup.


How to watch England vs France

The match between England and France will be broadcast live on ITV One and ITV One HD. No games are on at the same time now at the 2022 World Cup, so you do not have to worry about this game not being on an easily accessible channel. Coverage will start around 6 PM GMT and will be full of interviews, analysis and much more.

There will also be the option to Live Stream this match as ITV have a live streaming service called ITV X. It used to be called the ITV Hub, but it has now rebranded. All you have to do is register an account and then you can watch all of the football.


England Team News

Ben White will not return to the squad due to a personal issue, whilst Raheem Sterling missed the Senegal match. We are still yet to see James Maddison, but he is fully fit now. Aside from that, there are currently no injury concerns for England.


France Team News

Update 7th December 2022: Footage from Man United MEN on Twitter revealed that Star man Kylian Mbappe was absent from training, whilst Raphael Varane was training with the rest of the squad.

Les Bleus have managed just fine without Karim Benzema at this World Cup, and Olivier Giroud proved this as he became the record goalscorer for France after his goal against Poland. France currently have no new injury issues.


Will Raheem Sterling be available for selection vs France?

At the time of writing, the official England Twitter account has revealed that Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling is going to be available for selection vs France as he looking to return to Qatar and rejoin the squad in the build-up to the Quarter-Final match.

England and France have both looked very good in Qatar, and young stars Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe have been lighting up the World Cup and have been some of the best players at the tournament.

This match is a very exciting one, and we believe there will be a fair few goals. With Les Bleus having some big players missing, it is the best time for the Three Lions to compete with this side.
