Why is Portugal's manager annoyed with Ronaldo?
Fernando Santos made no secret of the fact that he was unimpressed with Ronaldo looking so frustrated with his second-half substitution, even refusing to confirm whether the 37-year-old captain his nation in the round of 16 clash with Switzerland.
According to the Guardian, Santos remarked: “Have I seen the images? Yes, I didn’t like it, not at all. I didn’t like it. I really didn’t like it.
"But from that moment onwards everything is finished regarding that issue. These matters are resolved behind closed doors. It’s resolved. Full stop on this matter and now everyone is focused on tomorrow’s match.â€

However, there was at least a lighter moment for Ronaldo to enjoy - or be confused by, rather - upon the conclusion of Portugal's shock 2-1 defeat to South Korea in the group stages.
What happened with Ronaldo and reporter?
That's because an amusing moment involving the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has gone viral on Twitter, showing his funny reaction to a rather overexcited reporter in the mixed zone.
As Ronaldo finished up the answer to a previous question in front of a gaggle of microphones, one brave soul did their upmost to try and jump in next by turning up the volume, shall we say.
And although the individual's enthusiastic attempts to get their question answered might have failed, it certainly did succeed in getting Ronaldo's attention for the briefest of seconds.

It's now sink or swim time in Portugal's bid to win the World Cup for the very first time as they face Switzerland in a round of 16 clash on Tuesday night at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.
If Ronaldo's World Cup dream survives beyond that particular encounter, then the Euro 2016 winners will lock horns with one of either Morocco or Spain on Saturday at the Al Thumama Stadium.
