Despite only being aged 23, Kylian Mbappe has played with some exceptional players and GiveMeSport has picked what we believe to be the best XI he has played with so far.

The attacker has dominated Ligue 1 at both AS Monaco and PSG, and has been a key asset for France. His performances have seen him linked to European giants Real Madrid.

Mbappe has managed to win the World Cup, Nations League, Ligue 1 five times, and the French Cup three times, as well as the French League Cup twice and the French Super Cup three times.

The Frenchman has also won many personal accolades. He has been the Ligue 1 Player of the Year and he has been the top scorer in Ligue 1 four times.

Best XI footballers Kylian Mbappe has played with

There are a great amount of footballers that Mbappe has played with, some are still playing now, whilst some have retired. Here is our starting XI:

  • Manager: Didier Deschamps
  • Formation: 4-2-4

GK - Gianluigi Buffon

Mbappe has played with Keylor Navas and Hugo Lloris; however, we believe Gianluigi Buffon is the best goalkeeper he has ever played with.

Despite being 44, the Italian is still playing football with him now in Serie B, but he has won a World Cup and 11 domestic titles, and he has been a huge reason for the success of Juventus and Italy when he was playing for them.

RB - Dani Alves

Dani Alves needs no introduction. The Brazil right-back is arguably one of the best ever to play in his position and has won 16 titles, which include three UEFA Champions League trophies.

CB - Thiago Silva

Again, another Brazilian is part of this greatest starting XI and Thiago Silva, just like Dani Alves, has been one of the best defenders in the world.

The 38-year-old still plays at a very high level at Premier League side Chelsea and has won 11 domestic titles. The centre-back will be hoping he can lift the World Cup with Brazil before he retires.

CB - Sergio Ramos

It was so hard to only pick two centre-backs, as Mbappe has also played with Marquinhos and Raphael Varane; however, Sergio Ramos had to make the list.

The current PSG defender is definitely coming to the end of his prime now, but he was arguably the best modern defender when he was at Real Madrid and also playing for Spain. He has won 16 titles which includes the World Cup and the Champions League.

LB - Theo Hernandez

The left-back spot was hard to pick as there were few top-quality full-backs who Mbappe has played with.

Not any of the LB's he has played with have reached world-class status yet, but Theo Hernandez is very close to doing so. The AC Milan and France star is only 25 and will no doubt be one of the best in his position very soon, if not already,

CM - Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba definitely divides opinion, but there is no doubting his world-class quality when he has been at his best.

The former Manchester United and now Juventus midfielder was pivotal to help France lift the World Cup in 2018.

CM - N'Golo Kante

Another Frenchman key to the recent 2018 World Cup win was N'Golo Kante.

Everywhere he goes, the defensive midfielder brings success, and this has included helping Chelsea and Leicester win the Premier League and also helping Chelsea win the Champions League.

He has been arguably one of the best defensive midfielders of this generation.

RW - Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi is probably the best footballer in the world and arguably the greatest of all time.

He has been crucial in bringing success wherever he plays and helped Barcelona win four Champions League trophies as well as helping Argentina win the Copa America. He has also won seven Ballon d'Or awards.

ST - Karim Benzema

The most recent Ballon d'Or winner is Karim Benzema, and the forward has deserved this award for many years.

Not only has he been crucial in helping Real Madrid win numerous league and Champions League titles, but he was also crucial in helping France lift the World Cup and is no doubt one of the best finishers in modern football.

ST - Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud is probably the most controversial footballer in this starting XI; however, he, like Benzema, is one of the best finishers of this generation.

You could make a compilation of all of his best goals and argue he is the best finisher on the planet when at his best. Scorpion kicks, bicycle kicks, headers and volleys have helped him become the perfect striker.

His talent helped Montpellier surprisingly win Ligue 1 and he became the record goal scorer for France in the 2022 World Cup.

This, combined with the amount of trophies he has won, means he's a perfect player for this side.

LW - Neymar Jr

Last but not least is Brazilian Neymar Jr.

The skilful winger has scared defences whilst playing for Santos, Barcelona and PSG and has won many titles along the way. He is not only good at finishing but also set pieces, and he is one of the best at getting past players when dribbling.

No doubt any team would be terrified to come up against this starting XI!
