Gary Neville, Micah Richards and Roy Keane have predicted the rest of the 2022 World Cup - and they're not too high on the chances of Gareth Southgate's England.

Of the 32 teams who entered the tournament with dreams of lifting the most famous prize in all of international football, only eight remain.

Now, the trio of Sky Sports pundits have had their final say when it comes to the competition winner in the latest edition of their World Cup Meet Up.

In previous episodes of the series, Neville, Richards and Keane have been tasked with completing a World Cup wall chart with their predictions.

After a World Cup packed with shock results, Neville reflected positively on the fact that the group had managed to successfully select six of the eight eventual quarter-finalists.

"We put a couple of wrong ingredients into the soup along the way but the soup's come out alright," he joked.

The conversation then moved on to the quarter-final matches in Qatar, which take place across Friday and Saturday this week.

Netherlands v Argentina

Keane: "I'm gonna go with Argentina, we've said it all along. Netherlands have been fine, but Argentina have got momentum after a really shocking start - and they've got Messi on the pitch."

Neville: "I've watched Argentina three times. Other than Messi, I think they're really average but you get the feeling they'll do anything to win.

"They've got a little bit of the devil in them and then they've got the guy up front [Messi] who is just unbelievable.

"I'll go Netherlands because I feel like if one team can structurally keep Messi out, they'll win.

Richards: "So I get the deciding vote? We want Argentina v Brazil [in the semi-finals]. I'm getting Argentina up there!"

Winner: Argentina

Croatia v Brazil

Neville: "All day long, Brazil!"

Keane: "Croatia have got that fighting spirit. It won't be enough, though."

Richards: "Yeah, Casemiro's been brilliant and Paqueta's been class!"

Winner: Brazil

England v France

Neville: "If England play France with their current teams 10 times, I think France win six or seven."

Keane: "Kylian Mbappe's the best player in the world, although I think England's attacking players will get a bit of joy."

Richards: "I'm 50/50. I think the game all depends on the first goal."

Neville: "I hope we're wrong."

Winner: France

Morocco v Portugal

Richards: "Well this is one quarter-final we didn't predict!"

Neville: "How good was [Goncalo] Ramos, by the way [in Portugal's last-16 victory over Switzerland]? To come from nowhere after just 30 minutes of international football is stunning!"

Keane: "And then you've [Cristiano] Ronaldo off the bench!"

Neville: "He could come on and win the tournament for Portugal. I hope he does! If England don't win it, I'd like Ronaldo to win the tournament."

Keane: "We're going Portugal aren't we?"

Winner: Portugal

Semi-finals

Argentina v Brazil

Richards: "This is where it gets tasty! It's too hard to pick this, isn't it?"

Neville: "I want Brazil to win. They're the better team. They play with more flair. I wanna see the dancing again and just see how that goes!"

At this point, Neville and Richards begin to mock Keane by mimicking Richarlison's 'pigeon' celebration that the Irishman slammed earlier in the week. The pair are absolutely loving life as you'll see in the full video at the foot of this article.

Keane: "I've gone off Brazil because of the dancing!"

France v Portugal

Keane: "I'm sticking with France so it's up to yourselves..."

Neville: "If I'm knocking England out, then I'm going with France."

Winner: France

Final

Brazil v France

Neville: "There she is. What a final. Mbappe versus Neymar. I think Brazil are winning this World Cup."

Richards: "Yeah, they've got the best team."

Keane: "They're the best dancers!"

Richards: "Come on Roy. Give us a jig. You said it was all it the hips, right?"

Predictably, Keane isn't in the mood to show off his dance moves. However, that doesn't stop his colleagues from mocking him yet again, before returning to give their final prediction.

Richards: "So what are we saying? The winners..."

Neville: "Brazil"

Keane: "I'll forgive them for the dancing if they win the final!"

Neville: "I hope we're wrong, by the way, and England end up in the middle there."

Winners: Brazil

So, there we have it. According to three of the country's leading pundits, Brazil will lift the World Cup for a sixth time on December 18th at Lusail Iconic Stadium.
