Lionel Messi has won almost everything there is to win in football over the past two decades.

The Argentine added the World Cup trophy to his collection last week as he inspired Argentina to glory in Qatar.

He's now won 42 trophies for club and country and is just one piece of silverware away from becoming the most decorated footballer ever.

Individually, Messi has won an astonishing seven Ballon d'Or titles, and is in pole position to win his 8th in 2023.

He has also won the European Golden Shoe on six occasions and was named The Best FIFA Men's Player in 2019.

But one trophy continues to allude him: The Golden Foot.
