Tyson Fury is the only man who might be capable of being able to "handle" Naoya Inoue's power, according to boxing promoter Bob Arum.

Inoue, who signed a multi-fight deal with Top Rank in 2019, recently became the undisputed bantamweight world champion by delivering a brutal eleventh round knockout to Paul Butler a week before Christmas.

What has Bob Arum said about Naoya Inoue?

He is the only Japanese fighter in history to be ranked the No.1 best pound-for-pound fighter in the world by The Ring Magazine.

Known as 'The Monster', Inoue now boasts an incredible record of 24-0 with 21 KOs in his professional career.

And Arum, who promotes both fighters, has insisted that the Gypsy King is the only man capable of withstanding all that power.

In an exclusive interview with GIVEMESPORT.com, he said: "The only guy who might be able to handle Inoue is Tyson Fury because he's a little too big for him.

"But this Inoue, I mean he's scary. He is like a loaded rifle. I get such a kick out of this guy.

"You really begin to feel sorry for his opponent halfway through his fights."

Arum was also asked if he thinks Inoue punches harder by comparison than Artur Beterbiev. However, he wouldn't be pushed for an answer, though he did admit that he has never seen anyone like him before.

"That's hard to say," he added. "You know, that's something you can't tell.

"But obviously I've never seen anybody with the concussive power, pound-for-pound, that Inoue has. I mean, never, particularly at that weight. He sets the guy up and boom he knocks them out the guy can't move.

"He is really something special."

Having spent most of his career in Japan, Arum also revealed that he would love Inoue to return to the United States for another fight in the future.

"I hope so, I really hope so," he continued.

"Because we have a massive audience and last time we brought him to the United States to fight, all the owners and patrons of these Japanese restaurants that we go to in Las Vegas went crazy.

"So yeah, why not, I'm sure we'll have him in the United States at least for one more fight."
