Arsenal are now favourites to win the Premier League.

That's according to data experts, FiveThirtyEight, who have created a prediction model based on data which is updated after each match.

And for the first time this season, Manchester City aren't predicted to win the title.

On New Years' Eve, we saw Arsenal go seven points clear at the top of the table. Man City could only draw 1-1 at home to Everton despite taking a first half lead through Erling Haaland.

It meant that Arsenal had the opportunity to go seven points clear of Pep Guardiola's side if they beat Brighton in the evening kick off. And they did just that with a 4-2 victory on the south coast.

There is still a long way to go but a seven-point lead at this stage is extremely welcome indeed.

And according to FiveThirtyEight, the Gunners are projected to finish on 85 points. That's two points clear of Man City at the top of the table. In fact, Arsenal are rated as having a 49% chance of winning the title with City's chances standing at just 40%.

So, that's the title sorted.

What about the rest of the Premier League?

The race for the top four is looking increasingly exciting with Newcastle, Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea all looking to finish in the remaining two spots that will qualify for next season's Champions League.

And despite a slow start to the campaign, FiveThirtyEight have Liverpool in third on 71 points. That puts them above Manchester United on goal difference, who are set to finish fourth.

That leaves Newcastle (68 points), Tottenham (66 points) and Chelsea (62 points) all missing out.

Brighton, Brentford and Fulham make up the top 10.

But who will be relegated from the Premier League?

There looks set to be a fascinating relegation battle too with just three points separating the bottom five clubs.

However, it's bad news for Nottingham Forest who are predicted to finish bottom on 32 points. They're ranked as having a 63% chance of relegation. In 19th on 33 points is Bournemouth, while Wolves (44 points) are expected to finish 18th.

That means that Everton and Southampton survive by just a point.

The predicted final Premier League table

Arsenal beating Man City to the title? Five clubs battling it out for the remaining Champions League slots? An unpredictable relegation battle?
