Breaking news in the WWE world has surfaced, much to the delight of many fans in the United Kingdom.The major sporting organisation have confirmed that they will be bringing Money in the Bank to England later this year.The Daily Mail were the first to break the news and it comes after WWE’s success at Clash at the Castle last September in Cardiff.

It was reported that the Clash at the Castle event drew well over 60,000 fans to the Principality Stadium.

The UK have always been renowned for having a sheer passion for sports and it looks as if yet another major event will hit the UK shores again.

With many already highly anticipating the confirmed event, the PPV showdown will take place on Saturday, July 1, at the O2 in London.

Per the Mail, Triple H, the company’s current Chief Creative Officer, stated that he wanted to run more international events in 2023 following the outstanding success in Cardiff.

Money in the Bank has been a popular event for many die hard WWE fans since the company was formed.

The show will be the first time the WWE has held a PPV event in the UK since 2003. It will also be the first time the Money in the Bank ladder match goes down on UK soil.

Currently, the WWE have many iconic stars from the UK and Ireland. They include the likes of Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Becky Lynch, Finn Balor, Doudrop, Nikki Cross and Tegan Nox.

The Mail were also informed that the company have said that their ‘biggest stars’ will be present at the summer blockbuster showdown.

WWE has already announced that they will be heading to the UK at the end of April with dates in Birmingham and Manchester confirmed.
