Royal Rumble 2023 is right around the corner, and some of WWE's plans for the show have been leaked.

In fact, a new report has revealed several of the surprise entrants that are slated to appear in both the men's and women's matches.

With the show being the official start of the 'Road to WrestleMania', and with Triple H booking the show, fans are excited to see what ends up happening on January 28.

Who is returning in the 2023 Royal Rumble?

The Royal Rumble is usually the show where WWE brings in some top names, whether that's legends for one-off cameo spots, or Superstars returning from injury and other absences.

That isn't set to change in 2023, with PWInsider reporting that both Edge and Beth Phoenix are slated to make their returns to WWE at the Royal Rumble later this month.

Edge is pencilled in to return at the WWE Royal Rumble PPV. He was last seen at the Extreme Rules PPV in October, losing to Finn Bálor in an I Quit Match. WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix is also slated for the Rumble we are told.

The report also explains that Doudrop is expected to be back on WWE TV around that time, having not wrestled since September. She's expected to come back as part of the Raw brand.

As well as the aforementioned names, Logan Paul could also return at the show, according to the report, with WWE monitoring how his knee injury heals between now and the end of the month.

Logan Paul is absolutely being talked about in regard to an appearance at the Rumble as well, as long as his knee is rehabbed and he's ready to go.

With Edge, Logan, Beth and Doudrop set to come back, fans are starting to hear more about some of the high-profile plans that Triple H has for the show.
