The Blues have been busy during this window, and Jones says the Magpies could now try and take advantage of that by bringing the winger to St James' Park.

Newcastle transfer news - Hakim Ziyech
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle are exploring the possibility of signing Ziyech this month.
The Moroccan, however, is not the only Chelsea player said to be on the Tyneside club's radar.
As well as him, the same outlet claims that they also have an interest in Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Chelsea recently confirmed the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk, which could perhaps pave the way for one of their other attackers to leave Stamford Bridge this transfer window.
What has Dean Jones said about Hakim Ziyech and Newcastle?
Jones says Ziyech is a player Newcastle are looking at and has suggested that he could help them secure a top-four finish at the end of the season.
Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: "I’m told that on the back of Chelsea’s business, Newcastle are checking out the Ziyech situation. I think this is a really interesting idea to weigh up for the rest of this season to help them secure a place in the top four."

Would Hakim Ziyech be a good signing for Newcastle?
Things have not quite worked out for Ziyech at Chelsea following his move from Ajax back in 2020, which was worth roughly £36m, according to BBC Sport.
He has not managed to nail down a first-team spot at Stamford Bridge, making less than five starts in the Premier League this term so far (via Transfermarkt). The 29-year-old, though, is a footballer who still possesses a lot of quality.
"We know what he can do on the ball and what he brings to the team," Mason Mount was quoted as saying by the MailOnline when discussing his team-mate in 2020. "He's a world-class player."
During the 2020/21 Premier League campaign, Ziyech also completed 1.5 key passes per game, which was the second-highest average in his squad, as per WhoScored.
All in all, the Morocco international does have ability and pedigree. It is easy to see why he would appeal to Newcastle as they look to finish in the top four this season.
If Eddie Howe can bring him to St James' Park, it could give their chances a significant boost.
