Mykhailo Mudryk completed his move from Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea on the weekend.
It looked as if Arsenal would seal a deal for the 22-year-old winger.
But Chelsea hijacked the move and he ended up signing for the Blues in a €100m move.
"I’m so happy to sign for Chelsea," Mudryk told Chelsea's website after completing the move.
"This is a huge club, in a fantastic league and it is a very attractive project for me at this stage of my career. I’m excited to meet my new team-mates and I’m looking forward to working and learning under Graham Potter and his staff."
How much is Mykhailo Mudryk earning at Chelsea?
Mudryk has become the fourth most expensive player in Premier League history following the move.
Per Transfermarkt, only Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Jack Grealish cost more.
But, despite his high cost, Mudryk's wages are pretty low when compared to the rest of Chelsea's squad.
According to The Athletic, Mudryk is earning £97,000-per-week.
Now, that's still a great deal of money and he will be earning millions over the course of his eight-and-a-half year contract.
But it's interesting that, according to Capology, Mudryk is only Chelsea's 20th highest-paid player.
