The Premier League is gearing towards the business end of the 2022/23 season and that inevitably means that a number of managers are starting to feel the pressure.

You only have to look at the way West Ham United vs Everton was being billed on Saturday to get that feeling with some football fans believing that defeat for either side would see one of David Moyes or Frank Lampard bite the dust.

And while Lampard remains his post at the time of writing despite losing 2-0 at the London Stadium, it's a match that nevertheless remains illustrative of just how precarious things are starting to feel.

Besides, once you throw in Graham Potter's struggles at heavy-spending Chelsea and the continued woes of Brendan Rodgers' Leicester City, it's no surprise that the so-called 'sack race' is starting to feel incredibly tense.

As such, here at GIVEMESPORT, we decided to take a peek at the bookmakers to see who they considered as the most likely managers to be the next to go in the Premier League.

It does, after all, tend to be quite a good barometer for which bosses are feeling the most pressure right now as the first sacking since Ralph Hasenhüttl's departure looms large.

Which Premier League manager will be next to go?

So, we took a look at the odds over on SkyBet for their 'Next Premier League Manager to Leave' special, which, it's important to stress, does also account for the possibility of the lesser-spotted managerial resignation as opposed to purely sackings.

The result? Well, fascinating and disheartening in equal measure, so be sure to check out how every manager is ranked by their likelihood of being the next coach to go. Odds are correct at the time of writing.

Which Premier League managers are under pressure?

Dang. It really does make you feel as though the sextet of Emery, De Zerbi, Guardiola, Arteta, Ten Hag and Howe are the only managers with no remote possibility of being the next casualty.

You can probably also extend that to the likes of Silva and Frank, but the fact that there's even a difference between those two tiers of coaches just goes to show that the world of Premier League management is a fast-moving and trigger-happy one.

At the sharp end of the list and it is indeed Lampard and Moyes who find themselves under the most scrutiny on the back of their six-pointer in east London.

And with the Everton chiefs failing to give much in the way of public support for Lampard after Everton lost said game, you really do have to feel for the Chelsea icon's chances of remaining in the job he took on around a year ago.

However, it remains to be seen whether any such axe-swinging from Farhad Moshiri would be preceded by Leeds running out of patience with Marsch or Conte throwing in the towel at Spurs.

And as for the fact that Klopp finds himself in the middle of the pack despite having won every trophy possible at Liverpool, well, we'll leave you to draw your own conclusions about that.

Either way, the moral of the story here is that Premier League coaching truly is as unforgiving as it's made out to be and right now, the odds really aren't in favour of Lampard.
