The heavyweight division in boxing has been absolutely stacked in recent years with many high-profile fights taking place. There has been Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua, just to name a few. All of these athletes have been involved in fights with one another in the last few years, but only two have remained unscathed, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. Now, the two look set to finally go head-to-head to see who can unify all the division’s belts and maintain their undefeated records. For a long time, Fury versus Joshua was the fight the British public were clamouring for, but despite negotiations, that has never materialised. Equally, Joshua has suffered a couple of high-profile defeats lately including back-to-back defeats against Usyk.

Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk

An official date for Fury vs Usyk is still not confirmed, but Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has been speaking of a March date for the fight.

Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "I want to get the fight on in March and so will Tyson. We just want to get it on in March and that'll set them up for another big fight in the autumn."

The build-up to a potential Fury vs Usyk scrap started last month, when the two shared a few words and insults after the Gypsy King got the better of Derek Chisora in their trilogy fight. With victory, the Brit managed to improve his fighting record to 33 wins and just the one draw. Usyk, meanwhile, has a perfect record of 20 wins from 20 fight, but 16 of those have come at cruiserweight.

Recently, the pair have stepped up their callouts of one another as a fight now looks almost inevitable.

This has been aided by the IBF’s decision earlier this month to retract their order for Usyk to face Croatia’s Filip Hrgovic.

Oleksandr Usyk's latest call-out has fans in stitches

Ahead of the fight, Fury has given his opponent the nickname of ‘rabbit’ which the Ukrainian has so far responded to in good humour. One such response was a video of him chopping wood in Istanbul, Turkey, and now he has sent the Brit another response.

This time, the video is off Usyk just before he tucks into a sizeable burger.

“Belly, look what I’m eating, yum yum yum, you’re next,” Usyk says in the video.

The whole thing is a bit odd and meant with some humour and yet is still weirdly threatening. So far, Fury hasn’t responded, but no doubt he’ll be back with some form of taunt soon.

"Who said Usyk didn’t have showmanship. I like the taunting," "Yum yum yum! I'm loving the basic banter Usyk!" "The yum yum yum. He genuinely cracks me up you know the little English he speaks he’s just deadly," "Love this guy, brilliant taunting," "The yum yum yum has sent me" and "Funniest man on the internet" are just a handful of reactions from boxing fans in the comments.

With the fight now looking likely for spring of this year, we could be in for an all-time classic. Either Fury or Usyk will likely lose their undefeated record and at the end of the night, somebody will be walking away with a lot of heavyweight belts to their name.
