Tyson Fury is looking to a potential super fight with Oleksandr Usyk to crown an undisputed champion in the heavyweight division, something that hasn’t happened since 2002 when Lennox Lewis ruled the roost.

Both men are firing shots at each other on social media and have been locking horns since Usyk’s back-to-back victories over Anthony Joshua, with The Gypsy King since downing Derek Chisora once again with the Ukrainian in attendance.

There’s no doubting that the boxing world will be fixated on this fight, with the winner writing their name into the history of the sport, immortalising their achievements. So much so, even the current crop of challengers to the two men at the top are commenting.

Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk: Deontay Wilder has his say

Deontay Wilder has had his say on who he thinks will win if/when the two square off, but his take on the fight isn’t quite what you’d expect, with him not really picking a winner for a certain reason like most, whether it’s Fury getting the KO with his power or Usyk’s boxing craft, most have their views on how it will all play out.

He has delivered an almost typical Deontay Wilder response to the question, finding a way to slam both fighters in a short period of time, something only The Bronze Bomber could manage, although his take is controversial with no substance.

The Bronze Bomber claimed when speaking to Seckbach: “I don’t know [who will win]. That’s a 50/50 fight. Depends on who’s gonna cheat the hardest. That’s what it is, it depends on who’s gonna cheat the hardest.”

Deontay Wilder’s history with Tyson Fury

He’s one of the few men that knows just how dangerous The Gypsy King is in the ring, and is the only man to stop him winning, although the fight resulted in a draw, meaning the Brit remains unbeaten in his career.

The second and third fights were much more one-sided, with Wilder being downed in both fights, with the second a seventh round TKO and the third fight seeing The Gypsy King get the KO in the 11th round to finish a brutal trilogy.

Either way, the claims from Wilder are bizarre, even for him. I’m sure the fight will live up to expectations and be a clean bout with no cheating like The Bronze Bomber has claimed.
