The fight has been announced. The pair have faced off. Let the smack-talk between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury begin.

This has not been an easy fight to make by any stretch, with two previous scheduled fights between the pair having been called off, but a third fight looks set to finally happen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia next month.

There are four weeks between now and fight night on the February 26. Plenty of time for the fighters to get ready and for them to get in each other’s heads.

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

That started when they faced off on Saturday night. And Paul has continued on social media after Fury's partner Molly-Mae Hague gave birth to their first child.

The fight was announced and scheduled last week, and it feels weird that a bout between two fighters with just 14 pro fights between them has as much hype as it does.

Former Love Island star Fury has fought eight times, while YouTuber Paul has just six. Both fighters are undefeated.

BT Sport gave Paul and Fury the chance to stand across from each other in the ring on Saturday night in London. They nearly came to blows when they stepped into the ring, taking the term face off quite literally and having to be separated.

“Come 26th of February, this s***’s been going on too long,” said Fury to a home crowd. “He will never box again.

“I’m not 50. I ain’t 40. I ain’t an MMA guy. I’ve been doing this my whole life. And I swear to God you are finished come 26th of February.”

“He’s fought taxi drivers,” The Problem Child replied. "He has no chin. It’s all a joke. I’m ending you on February 26th and you already know it.

“You’re going to crack under pressure. You’re not built for this moment.”

Tommy Fury comments on birth of baby

Fury has since spoken to BBC Newsbeat, where he said he was focused on Paul despite the birth of his first child with his partner Molly-Mae.

“I've got my sole sight focused on Jake Paul,” he said.

“By the time I get in the ring I'll be an absolute specimen and I'll be able to dismantle this man very quickly and very early.”

The Manchester-born fighter did not even seem to contemplate anything other than a win in the interview, paying little respect for Paul’s previous accomplishments in the boxing ring.

Jake Paul will take on Tommy Fury on February 26 in Saudi Arabia

“There's no way this man can beat me,” he said. “There's not a chance in the world.

“Just because he's got 22 million followers on Instagram, that doesn't make it a 50-50 fight.”

But even though Fury might be focused on Paul despite everything else happening in his life, there is a good chance Paul’s latest comments will have gotten under his skin.

What did Jake Paul comment on Tommy Fury's baby post?

Molly-Mae took to Instagram to announce the birth of their child on Monday night, including a picture of her, Fury and their new baby.

And while others took the opportunity to congratulate the pair, Paul took his chance to leave his own kind of response.

“Just in time to see your dad get knocked out,” he commented.

Absolutely brutal. If Fury was not already concentrating on knocking Paul to the canvas on February 26, you can be sure he is now.
